The Gap — Section

The gap between ambition and execution

Every company has a list of technical projects that should already be done. Most have a longer list of ones that didn't go as planned. The reasons are usually the same four.

01

No one owns the timeline.

Projects slip by months because accountability is split across vendors, internal teams, leadership, and no single person has both the authority and the bandwidth to drive delivery.

02

Scope is set before it's understood.

Budgets get committed before anyone has audited the technical reality, the integration points, or the dependencies. The overruns are baked in from day one.

03

Solutions are bought before problems get defined.

Tools, platforms, and vendors are selected to answer questions no one has clearly asked, leaving teams with technology that doesn't fit the workflow it was meant to fix.

04

Internal teams can't evaluate what they're being sold.

Without in-house technical and AI literacy, leaders can't challenge vendor claims, prioritize use cases, or know what "realistic" looks like.

Nowhere is this gap wider than in AI

AI projects fail differently than other technical projects. The technology is moving faster than most teams can evaluate, the vendors are louder than ever, and the line between a real use case and a demo dressed up as one is genuinely hard to see from the inside. The numbers reflect it.

95%*

of corporate generative AI pilots fail to deliver measurable business impact.

67%*

succeed when companies partner with specialists instead of building alone.

How We Close It — Section
What we do

This is how we close it

We built Cerentix to close that gap. Not as a vendor pitching a tool, not as a strategy deck that ends at the recommendation — but as the operational team that runs your technical projects with you, and trains your people to run the next ones without us.

We start by understanding, not selling.

Every engagement opens with an assessment of where the real opportunities are, followed by a thorough audit of your processes and infrastructure. Only then do we move to deployment. The result: no wasted budget on solutions that don't fit.

Your project manager, without the hire.

Deploying AI, a new IT system, or an industrial integration takes dedicated leadership. We step in as your external project manager — from initial scope through vendor coordination to go-live — so your team focuses on running the business, not the project.

Your team owns it after we leave.

Most training stops at theory and PowerPoint. Our workshops are built around your real use cases and hands-on practice, so when we leave, your team can evaluate vendors, run pilots, and own what comes next — without us.

Three pillars, one outcome: technical projects that actually land — and teams that can carry them forward.

Our Services — Section
Our services

Two services. One outcome: clarity before you commit

Most technical projects fail because the project itself was never properly defined. Our two services are designed to fix that — sequentially or independently — before a single resource is committed.

Step 01 · Off-site 500 CHF

Assessment

Find the right project before you scope it.

A focused working session with your decision-makers and the people who know how the work actually happens. We map your organization, surface where technology can make a real difference, and identify the right project to invest in — not just the most obvious one.

Best for: leaders who know they need to do something with technology but aren't yet sure what.

You walk away with

  • A clear map of where opportunities exist in your organization
  • An honest read on what's realistic and what isn't
  • A written feasibility report with a recommended project structure
Step 02 · On-site Tailored to scope

Process & Infrastructure Audit

Define the project before you build it.

We come on-site to see how things actually work — not how they're documented. We examine your processes, your tools, your infrastructure, and the dependencies between systems and people, then translate what we find into concrete project requirements and a realistic roadmap.

Best for: teams with a project in mind who need to validate scope, surface risks, and define what to build before committing budget.

You walk away with

  • A gap and risk analysis across technical, operational, and organizational dimensions
  • A project roadmap with defined phases, dependencies, and timelines
  • A written audit report with a clear go/no-go for the next phase

Take both. Take one. Either works.

Most clients engage us for both — the audit builds on the assessment, which means fewer blind spots and less time re-explaining context. But each step stands on its own. Come with a project already in mind and we'll start with the audit. Come earlier and the assessment alone may be all you need to decide your next move. Once we've defined the right project, deployment is a separate engagement — run by us, by your team, or by whoever's best placed to deliver it.

About — Section
About US

We didn't start as a consultancy

Cerentix began as a digital health startup at EPFL Innovation Park, backed by InnoSuisse when we were still students. We spent two years building a technical product from scratch, coordinating across engineering, business, and healthcare regulation, learning the hard way how technical projects actually succeed or fail.

What we learned reshaped what we do.

The hardest part of any technical project isn't the technology.

It's making sure the right decisions get made before any costly commitment is.

The insight Cerentix is built around

The model

We shifted our focus to where we saw the biggest gap in the Swiss market: helping companies navigate AI adoption and run complex technical projects without the guesswork. We bring the structured methodology, the technical depth, and the project management discipline most organizations need but don't have in-house.

Depending on the scope and nature of each engagement, our core team is reinforced with specialized contractors selected for their specific expertise : AI, IT infrastructure, industrial systems, or business process design. This keeps us lean and flexible: you get exactly the right people for your project, without paying for a permanent structure you don't need.

Geneva-based. Swiss-focused.

We work exclusively with Swiss businesses — companies that operate under Swiss expectations of quality, discretion, and accountability, and that benefit from our partners who shares the same context.

We measure our success by one thing : whether the companies we work with end up in a better position than when they came to us.
